The Senior High Sports Carnival is an event in its 5th year running held at Tanjong Beach Sentosa.  This year, this fun-filled beach sports extravaganza that provided the Senior High cohort hours of fun and adrenaline-packed bouts was organised on 6 July 2012. Packed with 7 core games that include Touch Rugby, Beach Volleyball, Beach Soccer, Beach Tchoukball and Water Captain’s Ball, the students challenged one other with competitive spirit for the Carnival’s Championship.  

Teeming with fringe activities, staff and students with different niches had the chance to participate and pitch their skill against one another.  This year, Fringe games such as “Shoo shoes” where participants used their feet to flick slippers into boxes, “Sand Castle Building” and “shuffle sand” attracted crowds of enthusiastic participants. Many of them also had a great time trying out the “Angry Duck”, knocking down cans by shooting rubber ducks, an activity that mimics the popular smartphone game “Angry bird”. The energised carnival atmosphere was aided by the funky music and the popular Dunking Machine that both have become a trademark of this carnival.

The event ended with the much coveted Challenge Shield awarded to Homa, the Champion of Sports Carnival 2012.
