About this site

The Dunman High Water Education Programme Website is launched on 18 September 2008 and is created and maintained by the Dunman High Infocomm Club (Junior High), specifically by two executive committee members - Yee Shen Hao of class 2L (2008), and Su Gi Chandran of class 3M (2008) - with the help of the DHWEP initiator and teacher of Dunman High School, Mrs Koh-Leong Swee Ling, and teacher-in-charge of Infocomm Club, Mr Gi Soong Chee.

 

This site is hosted on the Dunman High School servers, which also hosts the school's E-Learning Portal.

About Dunman High School

Dunman High School is an autonomous co-educational secondary school in Singapore which offers integrated programme. It is generally recognised as being one of the top schools and has always been the top co-educational secondary school in Singapore in terms of academic results.

 

The school is now temporarily located at 53 Mt Sinai Road Singapore 276880, due to the upgrading of its campus and will be moved back to its newly-renovated campus at the end of 2008.

System Requirements

Minimum system requirements are as follows:

  • Systems running Windows XP, Vista, Mac OS X 10.4, Ubuntu Linux 8.04
    • At least 256 MB of RAM in order to play Youtube videos and future interactives
    • At least 64 MB of video memory
  • Internet Connection
    • Broadband connection is recommended
  • Browser types
  • Browser settings
    • Javascript must be enabled for the site to work fully
  • Programs needed to view resources on DHWEP

  3. Why are so many pages "Under Construction"?
  4. The DHWEP website is still new more polishing needs to be done. But rest assure, the website will be updated at least once a month with new features in future.

  5. Why can't I open the resource I have downloaded?
  6. Please check that you have the neccessary programs installed on your computer. More details can be found on the System Requirements section.

Known Issues

Some known issues of the site currently include:

  1. On Internet Explorer 7, if screen or window width is 1200 pixels and below, a white space would be seen on the right side of the screen and the bottom scrollbar will appear
  2. On systems that have less than 64 MB of video memory, some performance issues are identified (high CPU usage)
  3. Live Search search box does not work correctly occasionally and "Loading..." will be shown (Live Search problem, will be fixed when in-house search is added)

Rest assure that these issues would be fixed soon!
